WATCH: Max Verstappen Takes Girlfriend Kelly Piquet for a Crazy Track Ride

Max Verstappen made his relationship with Brazilian model Kelly Piquet social-media official at the dawn of the new year. Now, he took to social media to document the two taking a couple of laps around the circuit in Barcelona.

They were zipping around the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, Kelly was wearing the Red Bull racing overall while going around the track with Verstappen.

In a tweet, the Red Bull driver can be seen driving at high speeds around the tricky track in Barcelona, Piquet was filming him as she enjoyed her time on the track with the Dutch driver.

Surrounded by racers

As it turns out, Verstappen isn’t Kelly’s only connection to the racing world.

Due to her family’s presence in the world of motorsport, she is well connected to the sport. Her father, Nelson Piquet, has three titles to his name, and her brother, Nelson Piquet Jr, is a former F1 and Formula E driver.

She also used to date Daniil Kvyat, and the two have a one-year-old daughter together, Penelope.

The 2021 Formula One season will kick open in Bahrain on March 28. The fans would be excited to see the young Dutchman zipping around the track at breakneck speeds as he fights his way up the grid to claim the title.

The Dutch driver would have lofty goals going into the 2021 season, hoping to build on his momentum from last year. He finished third in the driver’s championship, just behind the two Mercedes drivers, Bottas and Hamilton.
