Max Verstappen will get an upgrade despite the limited budget

The Milton Keynes-based team has one of the best cars this season, giving Ferrari a hard time. However, the 2022 Red Bull challenger is struggling with reliability issues. The Austrian constructors have bagged 3 DNFs in the last five races.

But Red Bull improved their car over the last five races, but the reliability issues aren’t gone yet. Sergio Perez had a sensor glitch at the inaugural Miami GP. The Austrian constructor is continuously developing their car cause it can affect Max Verstappen’s title defending run.

However, the biggest problem for the car’s development is the budget cap. The F1 teams are not allowed to spend more than the limited resources permitted to them by FIA. The Prancing Horses claims the Austrian F1 team has exhausted most of their budget.

But the Red Bull team principal doesn’t feel so and announced more upgrades for the car in the future races. Christian Horner reported, “The car’s running well. We’ve got some developments coming hopefully later in the summer that will help as well.”
