Lewis Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas were teammates at Mercedes for 5 seasons. The duo helped the German team win five constructors’ championships, while also going toe to toe against each other for the driver’s title. Despite that, both drivers had immense respect for each other during their time as teammates.

Interestingly, there is an Instagram reel of both drivers having fun in the Q/A session. Here, Hamilton asked a very simple question, to which he got a very surprising answer from Bottas.

Hamilton asked his teammate,” What is the most ridiculous fact you know?” to this Bottas expectedly replied,” I know exactly by a millimeter the average pen*s size of a beaver,”

Bottas’s answer visibly shocked the 7-time world champion. “What is that? I thought you were going to say human, but you said the beaver. And what do you have to find out?” said Hamilton.

“I think it is 30mm on average for a European beaver,” said Valtteri to answer Lewis’s question.

The fans of the Mercedes team will certainly be missing this kind of dynamic between the drivers.

The Finnish driver joined the Alfa Romeo at the start of the 2022 season. He has commenced his stint with the team well and has impressed everyone with his pace in the first three races of the season.

He also revealed that he is much happier racing with the Swiss-based team. “I just feel a bit happier in life overall. I really feel a big part of the team. And it’s been really nice to have proper authority on things. If I ask for something, it happens – and everyone really listens,” said Bottas.

It is nice to see that Bottas is happy racing with Alfa Romeo this season. The Finnish driver had a tough time racing against Hamilton during his time at Mercedes. Now he can certainly show everyone his true pace in an F1 car and now people will finally realize how hard he pushed the seven-time world champion when they were teammates.
