Lewis Hamilton is regarded as one of the most fearless drivers in F1. He is a risk-taker and has an aggressive driving style to match his raw speed on the track. But who knew that he was afraid of one of the most basic things in the world?

The 7-time world champion is afraid of onions! On TMG Studios, they hilariously react to Hamilton showcasing his fear of being around an onion.

“I didn’t know this, but this dude has got a massive fear of onions. Look up ****** Lewis Hamilton onions’ phobia. What is there to be scared of? I don’t know, he’s just straight-up onion phobia. This is one of the funniest things that I have seen in my entire life,” the presenters at TMG Studios conversed.

On the racing front, Hamilton and Mercedes are currently on the back foot despite finishing on the podium at Bahrain Grand Prix. In terms of performance, the team was about 30 seconds behind Red Bull and Ferrari in the race. The lack of performance from the German team has raised a lot of questions about whether Hamilton would continue racing after 2023.

Will Lewis Hamilton continue racing in F1 after 2023?

As reported by Planetf1, former F1 driver, and Sky Sports pundit Martin Brundle mentioned, it is hard to see Hamilton racing in the sport if Mercedes are the 3rd fastest team. He stated that although he is very motivated; it is a matter of time before when he decides regarding stopping racing.

“As long as he’s still enjoying the bits around F1 or he can tolerate those bits around F1 and balance it out with just loving driving the car, [he’ll stay],” said Brundle.

“[But] if he goes through the whole year and Mercedes is third fastest and others are catching them up, then I suspect he’ll take a different view and my enjoyment analogy will play out in that he won’t be enjoying it anymore,” added the Sky pundit.

Hamilton turned 37 before the start of the 2022 season. Everyone is well aware that he’s going for his 8th world championship in Formula One to become the outright leader. But it looks highly unlikely that he will achieve his goal this season looking at the first race.

So, it would be fascinating to see if he will call time on his career in case Mercedes are not winning races next season. Only the British driver can put an end to all these speculations.
