Many know what a drag race is. For the people hearing it for the first time, drag racing is a form of motor racing. Two cars race to be the first to the finish line. The first to cross the finish line wins. It is that simple. But, have you heard of RuPaul’s Drag Race? Some might have, but the Formula 1 drivers have never heard of it.

The show follows multiple contestants playing a variety of challenges in fashion and performance categories. It’s fun, exciting and highly addictive. The drag queens are just as quirky as you imagined they would be. The challenges are also totally over-the-top, which makes it an entertaining show.

Formula 1 drivers, though, had not done their research about the show. When asked whether they prefer to win the drag race or RuPaul’s drag race, their look on their faces explained the whole story. Here are some reactions by the likes of Daniel Ricciardo, Lewis Hamilton and others.

Does Lewis Hamilton prefer the drag race or RuPaul’s drag race?

As the drivers and fans are gearing up for the Miami Grand Prix, Formula 1 conducted a ‘would you rather’ USA edition show with the drivers. As the question popped on what they prefer to win between a drag race or RuPaul’s drag race, F1 drivers’ reaction was hilarious.

Lewis Hamilton was the first on the line and immediately replied, “the who?”, followed by Verstappen saying “the what?” Even Formula 1’s encyclopedia Sebastian Vettel had no clue.

After being explained, the Honey Badger’s response was interesting. He said, “Oh, I mean, it sounds kind of like an experience.” Meanwhile, the seven time World Champion, without hesitating, replied, “RuPaul’s.”

It is certainly not surprising, as Hamilton is a fashion icon. And he was confident in his ability to showcase his fashion sense and win the competition. However, Verstappen clearly preferred the drag race. “Oh, Jesus, no, no, we are not doing that,” he said.

Meanwhile, Nicholas Latifi was the only driver who knew what the show was about. The Canadian also righty suggested other drivers might not have heard the show.

RuPaul’s drag race has also won several prestigious awards, including the Emmys, for four consecutive seasons. Imagine our beloved Formula 1 drivers in the show. Well, Lewis might be the favorite to win (like on track), but we think Ricciardo could be a close contender.
