Lewis Hamilton is back for the last race of this season. After a lot of ambiguity, regarding his seat at Abu Dhabi, Mercedes confirmed last night that the Briton is COVID negative. He will feature in his 44 AMG from today trying to win the last race of his power packed season.

Lance Stroll had severely fallen back into the grid after his battle with COVID. The fatigue was enough to drain the racer from all his will and spirit to keep pushing. Will Lewis Hamilton face that same dilemma? Many would think otherwise.

Lewis has often highlighted his lifestyle as healthy. Besides that many pundits have said the same about him. Considering that his immunity should be at the zenith, COVID will not have harmed him much. However, the deadly virus may have led to some degradation of his might and strength.

Lewis Hamilton will have the same goal for Abu Dhabi, winning

Mercedes struggled hard with the radio problem last Sunday. The blunder that led to the disastrous pit stop mishap at Sakhir was painful for fans. It cost Bottas his podium and Russell his maiden points in the championship. Well, there won’t be a scope for error this time.

The prime reason Lewis is back for Abu Dhabi is crystal clear. He wants to win the last race of the season. In a weekend where he could have well sat back enjoying the race, he chooses to give it his all. His critics might look for cover now as he defines why he is one of the best in the game.

Mercedes AMG wished him with a warm welcome after he walked to his team camp at the Abu Dhabi circuit. The tweet read, “LH’s back, tell a friend. Great to have you back, Champ!@LewisHamilton”

His mettle is a source of inspiration for young drivers on the grid. Racers like Russell and Mick Schumacher, who would join next year, will have him to look up as role models for their future. We can guarantee Lewis is the vibe that keeps F1 going in the future.

Shrugging off critics is one thing. However, shrugging off a deadly virus, well that is bold. This thought of pouncing back obstacles makes Lewis the champion he is. Never back down, be the mantra for the Briton, he will not let this race loose for himself. His target will be the same pedestal 1 on the podium.
