After years of struggle, McLaren finally have some optimism for the future. And one of the biggest factors in their progress is their driver lineup – Lando Norris and Daniel Ricciardo.
The unanimously adored teammates both have jolly personalities; the two friends also share incredible chemistry. But both of them know that every once in a while, making a joke on the other won’t hurt.
Recently, in a ‘Mr. & Mr. Quiz’ game, both drivers were asked who is better looking amongst them. And both of them agreed its Daniel Ricciardo.

But Norris then followed it up with a cheeky reply.
“I just look where I’m in the championship.”
Ricciardo, who almost always has a happy face, proved that he can take a joke just as well as he can make a joke.
Where is Lando Norris in the championship?
Norris currently sits in fifth place in the drivers’ championship, a point behind Red Bull’s Sergio Perez.
The young McLaren driver has four podiums this season and even though his teammate Ricciardo won the race in Monza, he’s still 44 points behind Norris, in eighth place.
The young Englishman is still relatively new to the demands and level of competition in Formula 1. But he has taken little time to settle in. Since his rookie season in 2019, Norris has consistently impressed in a McLaren which has gone through some big changes.
And this season, he has outperformed his far more experienced teammate Daniel Ricciardo, cementing his status as one of the best talents on the grid.
Both Norris and Ricciardo key for McLaren against Ferrari
On Sunday Lando Norris will start the Mexican GP from the back of the grid because of an engine penalty, while Daniel Ricciardo will start in P7.
Excited for the race. Going to be tricky coming through from the back, but I'll give it a good shot. pic.twitter.com/74WCbBQUVg

The battle for third place is heating up between Ferrari and McLaren, and the British team knows that the Italians have a clear pace advantage.
But if Saturday’s qualifying has taught us anything, it’s that having pace can be deceptive.
