After finishing P5 in the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, Norris remains the only driver to score points in all six races so far. Although the Briton put in a solid performance in Baku, Ferrari overtook McLaren in the constructor’s championship to take third place. A few days on from the “Land of Fire,” Norris recalled the popular ‘Milk Challenge’ in Barcelona last season.
Ahead of pre-season testing for the 2020 season, Sky Sport’s Johnny Herbert challenged Norris and Sainz to hold a bowl filled with milk in the passenger seat of a road car. While they would do this, their teammate would drive past cones to try and make milk fall out of the bowl. The driver with the most milk in the bowl at the end would win the challenge.
Although Norris won the challenge, it displayed the warm, brotherly relationship that the two drivers shared, and still do. The Briton had a simple description for the video. “No matter what mood you’re in, there’s this one video that always will make you laugh! It’s this one. It’s so iconic,” said Norris.
The 21-year-old also made a few observations about Sainz while watching the challenge. “Carlos drives with his mouth open the whole time! He’s not very good with reverse,” said the Briton.
