McLaren driver Lando Norris has developed some intrigue for Golf lately. He can be found on the Golf Course on several occasions when not behind the wheel. However, his presence on the course mostly results in some funny moments for fans to enjoy.

Recently, in a video shared by Mclaren, the Brit can be seen cheating cheekily when his ball went into the pond. The Surrey-based team shared the video with a caption saying “No suspicious behavior on the golf course to see here…” Lando has had similar moments with his former teammate Carlos Sainz, who also has a great interest in the sport.

Cheeky behavior on the Golf course from Norris

After a hectic triple-header, F1 drivers have got a week off before the upcoming Saudi Arabian GP. Most drivers are using this time to rejuvenate before the crucial races. Norris took to the golf course for what he believes to be “one of the best games in the world to play.” While taking his chances with the Golf club, he ended up with the ball in the pond.

In a funny moment that followed, he just took another one out of his pocket and acted like it never went into the pond. “Oh! Found it. See I found it.” Further ahead with the game, he took a shot and completely missed it. “That was the practice, I didn’t even try to hit it,” he said jokingly.

Carlos’ masterclass to beat Lando Norris in golf

Sainz and Norris made one of the best teammate duos in recent years on the grid. The bond they share is something dear to the fans of the sport. Now, even though that they are in separate teams, that bond still exists. They took to the course ahead of the Sao Paulo GP and the Spaniard outclassed the Briton by the mile.

During a press conference, Sainz shared his “moment of glory”, as termed by his former teammate. “We’ve been spending some time together here in Brazil, since Monday, to be precise. We managed to play a couple of rounds of golf, and I must say Lando had the pleasure to witness one of the best rounds of golf he’s ever seen as a golfer, thanks to my five over [par] with five birdies round. I managed to beat him by a mile,” said the Spaniard.
