Carlos Sainz and Lando Norris helped McLaren to a P3 finish last season. The Spaniard moved on to join Ferrari for 2021. Meanwhile, at the McLaren garage, the team was discussing Carlos Sainz’s spin during his early days at McLaren.

In the recent video of McLaren unboxing that covers the testing weekend at the Bahrain circuit. Lando explained how Sainz spun in his new car in front of the McLaren garage. Meanwhile, team boss, Zak Brown, reminded the young Briton of one of his incidents in the garage.

Lando Norris was laughing as he explained the scenario to Zak Brown, “He spun in the pitlane. Spun in front of the other team, drove the wrong way. I think I have it on camera.”

The team will hope to reclaim the P3 position and close the gap between them and the team at P2. Do you think Lando Norris will make the most of this new partnership and help the team and himself climb the championship standings?
