German drivers Mick Schumacher and Sebastian Vettel recently paired once again to compete at the ROC Sweden, 2022. While the very popular German duo did not win, they sure had some great fun.

The prestigious competition took place on February 5-6. Besides Vettel and Schumacher, we also saw some other famous entities. The competition saw French professional driver Sébastien Loeb snatch the victory by beating Vettel marginally. Moreover, Valtteri Bottas and Mika Hakkinen were competing for the Finnish flag.

The Vettel- Schumacher bond

Vettel has earlier competed with Michael Schumacher for the German team. Moreover, he shares a fondness for the Schumacher family and has always supported them.

Recently, a video on the official ROC site gave us an insight into the fascinating pairing of Schumacher and Vettel. Both of them have always mentioned how they really enjoy working with each other. Vettel is also often spotted guiding Mick and trying to help him out, and there is no doubt that they share mutual respect.

Vettel, in the video, joked with the audience about how ” you always talk about weather when you’re German”. The four-time world champion also pointed out how the tournament differs from the single-seater formula one car, where the car is not so slippery. He further said, “driving on ice. I’ve done very little so far.”

“It’s no problem I feel to get in the car and get, along, but then it is a problem to get in the car and go, really really quick,”

“We obviously try to do well as team Germany to fight off all the Scandinavian teams.” He added.

While practicing laps with Schumacher, we saw him joke around with fellow competitors and make the most out of the experience.

When asked why he was running around in a t-shirt and shorts in such extreme cold, he replied, “we went for a run this morning and uh i didn’t bring a lot to wear uh maybe that’s the excuse i quite like the cold anyway so um yeah i don’t know i think we all have something we are bit um we missed some brain cells maybe it’s that for me. “

Vettel looked funny, as he had snow in his beard and was roaming around in shorts and shirt in Sweden’s cold temperature.

Fans will soon get a glimpse of the Aston Martin driver back in the F1 paddocks as he preps for the new season. Haas rival Schumacher is comfortable as he gets to keep his seat after an impressive rookie year. While they share a friendship, they also remember that they have a championship to win and look forward to that.
