Michael Schumacher, one of the biggest stars of the sport, retired with unprecedented seven championship titles. The German also retired with the record for most F1 race wins, which Lewis Hamilton overtook. During his peak, Schumacher stood head and shoulders above the competition. And the German retired for the second time in 2012, aged 43 as one of the greatest drivers of all time.

Sadly, in 2013, the German champion met with an accident while skiing in the French Alps. The accident resulted in a serious head injury and significant damage to the brain. After the accident, Schumacher has been living a very private life.

Michael Schumacher will always stay relevant, especially in the world of F1. And his legacy will live on, especially with his kids reminding us of his greatness. Michael’s younger son Mick is walking in his footsteps and is already an F1 driver for Haas.

His daughter pursued a different sport and became an equestrian. And using her skill atop a horse, Gina Maria Schumacher gave a touching tribute to her father and Ferrari.

Gina dressed her horse as a Ferrari car and ‘drove’ around on the prancing horse. The thoughtful presentation even showcased Gina doing a little pit stop. The special tribute even saw the daughter copy her father’s celebration style, making the entire presentation wholesome.

The tribute was heart-warming, and the crowd loved it as well, which was evident from their cheers.

As things stand, the best tribute Mick can give his father is with a race win, getting the Schumacher name up on the podium again. Mick revealed that aside from his father, it was his inherent love for racing that was a huge motivation for his racing career.

However, the upbringing and his influence is definitely not lost on the young German. He said, “He’s my dad and I’ve had a great upbringing and I’m able to evaluate where I need to put pressure on myself and where not.”
