Sad news hit Formula One at the start of the week as Sir Frank Williams passed away, aged 79. The Williams founder was an inspirational figure and will go down as one of the most important people in the sport’s history. As a tribute, every team in the paddock showed their admiration by putting on his logo on their liveries. Williams driver George Russell went one step further as he put a quote dedicated to the team’s founder.

Sir Frank was a big fan of the Hollywood blockbuster ‘ Top Gun’. The movie’s iconic line would very much justify the way the Brit lived his life.
