Formula One is really taking to the vibe in the atmosphere in Miami, Florida. The sport is really excited to race for the first time in the Magic City. It looks like no one is more excited to race in Miami than Ferrari driver Carlos Sainz, as this could be a home race for him.
Miami has a lot of Spanish-speaking population in the city, which will naturally back the Spanish driver. Carlos took to Instagram to share a video compilation of the activities that he has done since arriving in Miami, with Will Smith’s Miami playing in the background.

“Miami, thanks for the welcome! Let’s get into action!” Sainz wrote in the caption. It is an interesting list of things that he has already done before hitting the track. However, he would soon have to shift his focus to driving ahead of this weekend.
Carlos Sainz reveals Miami would be a good place to bounce back
It has been a tough start to the season for Sainz, compared to his teammate who is leading the championship. Sainz achieved 2 podiums in the first 2 races of the season but has retired from the recent 2 races. This has somewhat derailed his championship bid.

But he believes that Miami could be a good place for him to bounce back in the championship. “It’s definitely a good place to hit back, especially with a lot of Spanish-speaking people here,” said Carlos.
Despite his hardships, the Spaniard is not going to let this one go. He has expressed, “I’ve been in the fight for pole position in all three races and maybe I was lacking one-tenth in the last Q3s, to fight for it. So this shows that it is very little what I’m looking for. And this keeps me motivated and keeps me awake that at any point this can switch and this is what I’m looking for.”

The Spanish driver really needs a clean weekend where he can outperform his teammate. It would be good if he bounces back in Miami as the team is just coming out of a tough weekend in Imola. Carlos is certainly worthy of challenging for the title. However, he needs to make himself comfortable with the F1-75 sooner rather than later.
