To rise in F1, a driver needs to back himself and his capabilities, no matter what noise the world makes. Moreover, to compete in Formula 1, you need to prove that you are more hungry for glory than any other driver on the grid. In 2010, Sebastian Vettel did the same and stole the limelight by clinching his maiden world title.
In a 2010 pre-season interview with BBC, when asked who is the favorite to win the world championship? All F1 pundits except one, couldn’t help but put their money over the winners of the previous seasons.

The interview kicked off with the F1 experts placing their bets on constructors champions and the answer from David Coulthard created havoc inside the room. The former Red Bull ace backed his team to raise the 2010 title. Henceforth, when the time arrived to place their bets on the driver’s champion, everyone picked the McLaren duo, Lewis Hamilton and Fernando Alonso.
Nonetheless, Coulthard stuck to his guns and backed Sebastian Vettel to raise the world title that season. If only the Scottish international would have placed a bet on his prediction, he would have been richer as the German racing driver indeed raised the world title in 2010.
Henceforth, the Vettel fans responded to the rest of the Panel in the comments section of the video by saying, “He b*tchslapped those noobs so hard.”
“I mean he laughed last”

The Sebastian Vettel era
The Heppenheim-born racing driver debuted in 2007 at the United States GP. Remarkably, he held the world record for being the youngest F1 driver to take part in a Grand Prix weekend at 19 years and 53 days, until Max Verstappen replaced him in the history books.
On This Day in 2010, Red Bull unveiled what would be its first title-winning car – the RB6. Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber drove the dominant car to first and third in the championship, and Red Bull also took the constructors' title too.https://t.co/Jn4rMQptL1 pic.twitter.com/0OZBOhW5FE

Right off the blocks, Sebastian Vettel had that spark and uniqueness in the way he drove the wheels off the F1 car underneath him. This fast-tracked his career and he found himself in a car worthy of winning titles at the Red Bull.
Thus began the fairytale for the team and its face of the future. Just like the 2o21 season, it went right down to the wire, with Vettel facing a 15-point and 7-point deficit to Alonso and Webber, respectively. However, an exceptional drive at the Abu Dhabi GP put him on the top step of the podium and earned him his first F1 crown.
