The Ferrari due is one of the best driver pairing this season, with Charles Leclerc a potential contender to win the 2022 world championship. While the Prancing Horse drivers are usually phenomenal on the circuit, we, unfortunately, can not say the same for them when they are in front of the camera.

Leclerc and his teammate Carlos Sainz appeared in the latest ad of Shell V-power. The Ferrari boys talk about the new 10% renewable fuel from Shell. But the ad didn’t receive the response as they would have imagined.

The drivers were unable to impress the fans with their acting prowess. Leclerc and Sainz looked lost, and the entire video was very monotonous. Many fans even said the drivers looked like robots. The fans expressed their thoughts on the ad on Twitter. Let’s take a look at some of those fan reactions.

Some fans even said Leclerc and Sainz were forced to act at gunpoint in front of the camera.

Some fans even jokingly mentioned the Ferrari duo should receive an Oscar for this ad. Fans even mentioned other ads featuring F1 drivers as worthy competitors to this Shell ad.

The Ferrari duo’s funny interaction in the Shell commercial

The Shell commercial had many checky interactions between the two Ferrari drivers. This ad was shot when the drivers were in the US for the inaugural Miami GP. And Leclerc was leading the 2022 championship title run back then.

Leclerc told Sainz in the commercial, “Being first isn’t everything, Carlos. However, I am, without a doubt, the undisputed first.”
