Daniel Ricciardo has had a torrid first half of the season. He currently stands in 12 place with 19 points. His teammate Lando Norris, on the other hand, finds himself at 7 with 4 times as many points. His best finish of 6 came at the Australian Grand Prix, Ricciardo’s home GP. The summer break couldn’t have come at a better time for Ricciardo!
But, as if things weren’t already bad for Daniel Ricciardo, he now faces a doubt whether he will retain his Mclaren seat next year. With Vettel’s retirement and Alonso jumping ship to Aston Martin, Alpine and Mclaren are now after the services of 2021 F2 Champion Oscar Piastri.

Daniel spends a week in the Mountains of Montana
But this does not bother Danny as much. Ricciardo has been spending his summer break in Montana’s Rocky Mountains. He posted his travel vlog video titled “A Week off in Montana” on his YouTube Channel.
The video shows him and his buddies cycling through Glacier National Park. He is seen walking across rivers, cycling on the mountain roads, and enjoying the greenery all around.
After a tiring ride around the mountains, Ricciardo and his friends changed their attire into a more Montana style.

They spent their evening around the fire doing loads of fun activities which included “…we had bucking bulls, barrel racing, rope catching, net twisting, turtle throwing, heel-clicking and throttle twisting” as Mclaren driver explained in a very staunch American accent.
