2022 is an important season for Daniel Ricciardo and he seems to be completely enjoying the pressure. The Aussie driver was impressive in the preseason testing in Barcelona when he took out his 2022 MCL 36. He was also enjoying when he was not driving and could be seen teasing his teammate Lando Norris.

On his Instagram story, he teased Norris for not being on the track when he was supposed to. ” Would’ve got Lando if he was actually on the track and not resting his little neck,” wrote Ricciardo on his story.

Overall, a pretty flawless three days for the team: Daniel Ricciardo
As reported by Planetf1, the McLaren driver notched up 212 laps over the course of 3 days in Barcelona. He did not encounter any problems during his on-track sessions. After the testing was over, Daniel mentioned it was 3 flawless days for the team.

“We then got into a different programme to yesterday where we racked up plenty of laps, which was really productive. Now it’s about giving that information back to the team and trying to build on this positive start,” said Ricciardo.
“I think we’re in a good spot, but there’s always something to work on and improve. So, we’ll give the team some data to work with and some areas of work to do, I’ll focus on what I can keep doing better. Overall, a pretty flawless three days for the team, a really awesome start to the season. Thanks to everyone back at MTC for putting the hard work in over the winter to put us in this position,” said the McLaren driver.

Ricciardo looked settled in the new 2022 cars while many struggled. It would be interesting to see if both Ricciardo and McLaren can build on their preseason success at the first race of the season. If McLaren is competitive, then we can expect the Aussie driver fighting at the front where he belongs.
