Charles Leclerc, Ferrari’s precious possession, has been on the wrong side of luck of late. Even though the Monegasque had a brilliant start to the season, things gradually started falling off for him. As happened most recently in Monaco, when Charles crashed an iconic Ferrari car against the barrier.
Leclerc went back to his hometown in Monte Carlo after a bittersweet Miami Grand Prix in the United States. The Ferrari driver was there to take a glance and drive the iconic Ferrari 312T with F1 great Jacky Ickx. The car is one of the rarest and high-priced possession that the Maranello-based team has under their belt.

The 312T was driven by former F1 great Niki Lauda. Lauda even went on to win the championship with the car in 1975. They gave the 2022 championship leader the car for a spin around the streets of Monaco; unfortunately, Leclerc spun to crash into the wall.
Talking about the disastrous incident, the Scuderia Ferrari driver conveyed, “When you thought you already had all the bad luck of the world in Monaco and you lose the brakes into rascasse with one of the most iconic historical Ferrari Formula 1 car.”
