Ferarri’s ‘Golden Boy’ Charles Leclerc has managed a sensational win at the Bahrain GP. The Monegasque qualified at pole position, beat Max Verstappen in a remarkable tussle to lift the trophy.
The season opener was a “Banger” if described in one word. While there were some moments that left the Ferrari fans anxiety-ridden, the Scuderia still managed a beautiful 1-2 situation.

The Maranello team saw their wonder duo Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz on the podium today. While they were dominating the race from the very beginning, Red Bull cars’ failing at the last moment made it easier for them. Initially, Sainz managed a P3 and kept his lead, but was not left unchallenged by a Red Bull car. However, he soon overtook Verstappen’s car after a critical hardware failure.

Charles Leclerc and Max Verstappen go way back together. Tough contenders since their karting days, they have incidentally carved out a beautiful career path for themselves in Formula One. While both are deemed extremely competitive and determined, one of them dominatingly illustrated their mettle today.

Max and Charles look happy
Leclerc had a great start from the beginning when he easily kept his lead from Verstappen. However, things were not easy for him when the Red Bull DRS sparks arose in the sky and we knew Verstappen was coming to get him. But Leclerc was not an easy target, as he clearly displayed the utmost chivalry and did not let Max run away with the lead.

After unsuccessfully exhausting his DRS turns several times, Max’s number 1 chassis was in for a terrible time. The Dutchman, who was advised to not go for the kill again, was audibly upset. Further laps were not easy for Max, as he constantly reported a worsening car situation. At one corner, while in a bid to overtake Leclerc, Verstappen visibly locked his tires.
However, the two competitors shook hands after the race, displaying a fine example of sportsperson spirit. Max has previously also claimed Ferrari to be a fearsome competition this season. Clearly, the reigning champion respected the Scuderia’s hard work.
