Qatar hosted a Formula One race for the first time this past weekend, and will regularly feature on the F1 calendar from 2023. However, Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc didn’t have full knowledge about F1’s schedule which resulted in massive confusion while playing a game with his teammate, Carlos Sainz.
Leclerc and Sainz are competitive both on and off the track. When the duo play fun games for social media, Leclerc and Sainz aim to have the edge over the other, and this time it was not so different.

The duo always has fun while playing games. Both are eager to win but simultaneously indulge in banter that is adored by the F1 community.
After the Qatar Grand Prix, Charles and Carlos were asked if Qatar will feature on next year’s calendar. At first, Leclerc did give the right answer but soon changed it. Meanwhile, Sainz thought the answer was yes, but soon corrected himself and said, “No 23.Sorry,” Leclerc soon responded with laughter saying, “Oh no 23.” Both Carlos and Charles burst out laughing, with Leclerc saying, “I am right.”

How did Sainz and Leclerc perform in Qatar?

The Spanish driver started Sunday’s race in fifth place, while his teammate from Monaco had to start from a disappointing thirteenth on the grid. Leclerc was hoping to salvage his weekend by securing a good finish.
The Monegasque racing driver was true to his word and came home to take the eighth position. His teammate finished ahead of him by crossing the line in seventh place. The Italian team bagged ten points from the weekend, and hope to score more in the final two races of the season.
