The Brit is a global superstar and is arguably the most famous driver in the sport. His warm and welcoming nature makes him one of the most popular with fellow celebrities. However, this one time before the 2016 Canadian Grand Prix, the Oscar-winning actress Penelope Cruz failed to give attention to the Mercedes ace.
The duo encountered each other on race day, where car number 44 lined up on pole position with the Briton inside the cockpit. This is where he noticed Cruz as a part of the grid before lights went out and immediately asked his mechanic to move over so he can greet the fellow superstar.
