With a lack of racing action to indulge in, F1 fanatics rely upon the buzz of the offseason to keep themselves entertained. Car launches take the cake. Fans are always buzzing with excitement to check out the design and the livery of these beasts. And now, the Aston Martin Cognizant F1 Team has offered us a peek into theirs.

They will be the ones to look forward to the most, along with Alpine Racing, as both of them are undergoing an extensive rebrand. While the Alpine car will don a mix of colors, Aston Martin will have green as their centric color.

Last season’s Racing Point car went by the name RP20, and the upcoming season’s challenger takes the name AMR21. From the video above, it looks like the inside of the cockpit of the car. So, not much can still be said about the overall design of the exterior.

When is the Aston Martin car launch?

The likes of McLaren, Alfa Romeo, and Red Bull are already done with their launch assignments; next up are Aston Martin. They will pull the covers off their car on March 3rd, 2021, in a virtual ceremony.

The car will pretty much resemble the one from last season. As a result of the FIA’s freeze on much of the chassis development, it will carry at least 50% of the features of RP20. It was done to cut the costs in lieu of the COVID pandemic.

But still, there must have been plenty of work in the background. There is never a specific date for a team to complete their car, hence the different launch dates.
