Let’s first recap the entire incident. We are all aware on 18th April 2022, Leclerc’s Richard Mille one-of-a-kind watch was robbed from his hands. The Monegasque was sporting the one-of-a-kind special edition customized watch on his left wrist where it was nicked during the commotion. The incident took place in the city of Viareggio.
According to reports, a collective effort from the authorities of Naples, Caserta, Milan, and Viareggio helped apprehend the gang. The closed case allowed the police to release some unseen footage as well.
Leclerc chased the robbers down in his Ferrari 488 Pista, as seen in the footage released by the police. Something out of the movies, the Monegasque attempted to catch the robbers in the streets of Viareggio before they fled to Naples.
However, this case is closed, and everyone can take a sign of relief, especially Leclerc. Moving on from the horrible situation, the fans found a way to look back at it and laugh. Albeit it is at Leclerc and Ferrari’s expense.
