In an interview with Sky Sports, Pierre conveyed, “In the last 15 laps I’ve never had that much pain, I don’t know what happened to my intestine, I don’t know. The last 10 laps were like getting stabbed every left corner. The most painful laps I had so far. Anyway, I’m just happy that the race is over and we got points.”

Survival lessons from Pierre Gasly?

When asked about how he felt during the interview, Gasly stated, “Quite bad” After the interviewer asked him about seeing a doctor, the AlphaTauri driver further stated, “I’ve seen him already and I’ll see after. I don’t know what it is but it was not a nice feeling. It was more like surviving rather than anything else. We’ll see what happens.”
