Lando Norris is always super critical of himself. The Briton always accepts his mistake and sometimes even goes beyond to apologize even if it’s not his mistake. As Lewis Hamilton’s unfair criticism of Max Verstappen rages debate, the F1 legend has asked the Briton to man up and be critical of himself rather than being critical of others. Who is this F1 legend? Why is Hamilton being asked to Man up?

Red Bull has been dominating the 2023 season like it’s child play. With the cars behind Red Bull still trying to catch up, the Milton Keynes-based team has already started development of the 2024 competitor. Lewis Hamilton isn’t too pleased with Red Bull’s dominance and suggested that FIA shouldn’t allow teams to start the development of next year’s car before a specific date as it’s unfair towards the team still trying to catch up. He advised that that’ll help reduce years of domination by the same team.

Juan Pablo Montoya asked Hamilton to man up and accept that Red Bull has done a better job. The 7 time F1 race winner reminded the Briton of his dominant era and how Mercedes dominated for 8 straight years. Montoya said “It’s funny because Lewis keeps saying how unfair it is… He is already predicting that Max will also win next year, but if you look back at his period of dominance. Was it him or was it the car? We were all happy for him when he dominated.”

Not only Montoya, Max Verstappen all came back at Lewis Hamilton with a “Life is Unfair” jab. Verstappen wasn’t also from Red Bull who criticized Hamilton’s suggestion but also Christian Horner.

Christian Horner suggests that he respects Toto Wolff for what he has achieved but he cannot be friends with Toto Wolff as it’s dishonest. Now after Lewis Hamilton’s attempt to take away Red Bull’s dominance, Horner took a jab at Hamilton by advising that he’s speaking from personal experience as he’s dominated many seasons before Red Bull. The Red Bull TP further explained the problems around the concept.

According to Express.co.uk, Christian Horner said “Well, he’s obviously talking from personal experience! I think it would be an incredibly hard thing to police. How on earth could you say ‘Right, August 1, go! How do you prevent people thinking about, or working on, next year’s cars?”
