The rivalry between Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg during the 2016 season was probably the fiercest in the last decade. It had everything: close calls, good racing, strategy, and collisions. Nevertheless, George Russell’s unexplainable move against Lewis Hamilton gives the Silver Arrows and the fans past PTSD. Let’s see what George Russell did and what the fans had to say about it.
Mercedes came to the Spanish GP with the hopes of testing how their new upgrades really work. Monaco was not a very good representation of what the upgrades brought due to the nature of the track. During the Practice sessions, the Mercedes looked good on the track. Even though the lack of pace was evident, Lewis Hamilton looked comfortable in the car. Nevertheless, the upgrades went to waste for one of the drivers who failed to qualify for Q3.
