Formula 1 is considered one of the toughest motorsports. Drivers often have to face cutthroat competition in order to stay at the top. Although there are some pairs who, with their healthy banter, lighten the atmosphere. We are talking about the duo which collectively holds almost a dozen World Titles. Yes, it’s Sebastian Vettel and Lewis Hamilton who, with their conversation, can make you burst into laughter. One such incident happened back in 2015 in Russia, where Sebastian Vettel cheekily threw the Mercedes star under the bus.

Sebastian Vettel‘s 16 years career came to an end this season as he raced for the final time at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
In his long illustrious career, the 4 times champion has been indulged in some great moments with Lewis Hamilton, who made his debut in the same year (2007).

With their usual banter, they grabbed fans’ attention during the press conference of the 2015 Russian Grand Prix.

In the conference, Seb saw some girls standing afar. He used the moment to take a cheeky dig at the Mercedes star. Vettel said, “Somebody just told me that you’re waiting for the girls to come up with you. The Radisson Hotel, room 7 or 8. I think they’ve been standing all day, so I think they can sit down. Feel free to sit down. Sit down, How do you say sit down in Russian?”

During those years, the Briton was given the “playboy” tag owing to his extravagant lifestyle. However, on many occasions, the Mercedes star has rubbished the suggestions.

Lewis Hamilton asks Sebastian Vettel if the German driver has touched his car or not

Vettel and Hamilton have given us many wholesome off-track moments. One of those iconic moments came back in 2017 at the Australian Grand Prix when the two superstars of the sport had a hilarious conversation.

After the post-qualifying session when Hamilton was talking to the media, he turned towards the German driver and asked if the then-Ferrari driver has touched his car or not.

To give you context, Vettel was also known as ‘Inspector Seb’ in the paddock, as he was more often than not seen inspecting his rivals’ cars after sessions.

As it had become a running gag at that point, Hamilton interrupted Seb’s interview and said,Sebastian, I have heard you have been touching my car, is that true?”

“You were looking or touching my car? He said you were touching my car. Touching ah okay.”

Vettel responded, “Just looking.”
