Formula 1 is an absolute circus at times. The crazy political dynamic, driver market chaos, and whatnot. Now with Netflix’s Drive to Survive being a perennial stable for fans, the cinematic level of F1 has gone up. It may be a coincidence, but with this increasing excitement and thrill in the sport, even Hollywood is looking to get a taste of this thrill. Brad Pitt and Lewis Hamilton have planned a feature film on F1. While that project is underway in production, a fictional spy thriller script is also getting viral right now on Twitter. For Hamilton fans, it is epic as their beloved 7-time champion is starring as James Bond.
According to F1 fan and Entrepreneur Vincenzo Landino’s Twitter post, this movie script is a classic Bond thriller based on F1 drivers and team principals. Landino got this script for a two-part spy thriller from Chat GPT, an Open AI platform. As per this fictional AI-generated story, Lewis Hamilton will be playing the role of James Bond, who will be battling the “treacherous world of F1 politics”.
Besides Lewis, even his fellow driver mate Sebastian Vettel is playing the role of a villainous driver named Lance Strulovich. Meanwhile, there is also a character of Lawrence Strulovich, Lance’s father and the owner of Strulovich Racing in F1.

Overall, it sets up a storyline of the Struloviches trying to win the F1 championship by all means necessary. While Hamilton’s character will try to stop their plans from succeeding. The script also has Fernando Alonso playing a fellow secret agent to Lewis and being his aide (quite the contrast to the real world).
Besides Alonso and Vettel’s unexpected roles, Toto Wolff and Christian Horner also have roles of being handlers of Lewis and Fernando respectively. Many are quite thrilled to just read about this epic fictional spy movie featuring their favorite drivers.
Fans React to Lewis Hamilton as James Bond and Other Surprising aspects of the Fictional F1 Spy Thriller
F1 Fans have tried to digest the craze of the stories of both parts of the fictional spy thriller. Eventually, they reacted on Twitter to express what they feel about such a movie being made. Of course, Lewis Hamilton glorified as Bond would be amazing to watch. But, some are confused over how Vettel is the antagonist to Hamilton and how Fernando Alonso is Lewis’ aide.
Having to navigate “the treacherous world of F1 politics” on the spy mission is easily my favourite part.

it’s so bad, daniel craig could have written it himself (eh @HFoenander)

F1 presenter Will Buxton famously described Lawrence Stroll as a Bond villain on Drive to Survive once. So, Stroll too lives up to being a ruthless boss wanting to win the F1 championship. But, Sebastian Vettel being based on Lance Stroll does not make sense.
Though some of the one-liners mentioned in a separate post really take a cinematic route – “You can’t outdrive me, but you can outsmart me.” – Vettel as Lance Strulovich
"You can't outdrive me, but you can outsmart me." 😭😭😭😭😭😭

If anyone makes such a movie, it certainly will be a huge hit among F1 fans. It can become a good time-killer watch during a long boring off-season. You never know Hamilton and Pitt may take any inspiration possible for their upcoming feature film.

Fans also took some cheeky digs at how Horner’s dialogues seem ironic about “You can’t cheat your way to the top, you have to earn it.”

Even if Pitt and Hamilton don’t, Netflix may keep an eye on this to look at a spin-off for Drive to Survive.
