Romain Grosjean has had quite a career, hasn’t he? In his five years at Haas, the Frenchman showed what he’s capable of despite not having the most competitive car. The 35-year-old was once involved in a horrific accident and was later left the American Constructors. He now drives an Indy Car and seems to be really happy with the way things are progressing.

Though Romain is not in Formula One anymore, he is a much-loved driver still. Fans have made sure to abundantly follow his social accounts and catch up with the driver’s new life. The driver has about 1.7 million followers on Instagram and 194,000 subscribers on his YouTube account. Safe to say he seems to do really well for himself.
Romain Grosjean tells how it is
Grosjean recently made a video explaining the difference between an F1 car and an IndyCar. He started out by explaining how the two cars’ chassis look alike and that a non-follower would find no difference between the two. Grosjean started out by explaining how Formula 1 teams have almost four options to buy their engines from compared to only two in IndyCar. The driver explained how the engine varies in the competitive cars with an F1 chassis comprising almost over 1000 horsepower and a hybrid engine.

Grosjean explained that in an IndyCar the easier way to find out the smaller team and bigger team is through dampers. He claimed everyone drives the same car and the only difference would be that of engines and personal upgrades. Grosjean also mentioned that Formula One is a lot about copying each other’s cars and understanding who has made the better design. Well, he’s not wrong, is he?
Two minutes into the video, you could see Romain wishing to travel the world once again. He mentioned how IndyCar is mostly based in the US, with just one overseas race happening in Canada. Well, something to be disappointed about!. The French driver then explained some more important topics in deep, which comprised budget, strategies, etc.

The Andretti Autosport driver also explained how one can adjust an IndyCar to one’s liking. However, the same cannot be said for an F1 car which is dominated by Aerodynamics. The driver also sympathized with McLaren star Daniel Ricciardo, who is struggling with a similar issue. Regardless, it was great to see Grosjean happy and healthy with his new lifestyle, as his channel prospers.
