The final race of the season came to an end and what a cracking race it was in Abu Dhabi. The race had everything for F1 fans across the world to enjoy. Max Verstappen finished off the season in style as he won his 15th GP. Max had a perfect season and signed off in thrilling fashion. Subsequently, Charles Leclerc finished 2nd in the race, and the WDC as he fended off the challenge from Sergio Perez.

The race was enthralling and kept fans right on the edge of their seat. There were many different battles in the race to follow, but none more exciting than Leclerc and Perez’s. Charles Leclerc held his nerve to fend off the late advances made by Checo. He finishes a roller-coaster season at P2 in the driver’s championship.

While Perez will be disappointed, as he could not get the job done, Red Bull will be proud of the way he fought so valiantly. Moreover, he pushed Leclerc right till the last second of the race. Unfortunately, he couldn’t overtake the Monegasque and had to settle for P3 in the championship.

Both Leclerc and Checo will hope to return next year with fresh ambitions and challenge Max Verstappen at the top. Moreover, Ferrari will also be looking to challenge the constructor’s title.

The excitement among the fans was uncontrollable as they poured their feelings on Twitter. They were fascinated by the close nature of the battle for P2 in WDC.
