Max Verstappen and Lando Norris are two drivers in the form of their lives this season. Although they are chasing different targets in the current season, they are outperforming their respective cars at the moment.
After both drivers finished on the podium at the Austrian Grand Prix, Verstappen joked with Norris about a comment made by Lewis Hamilton.

Verstappen completed a successful tripleheader by winning the Austrian Grand Prix last weekend. The win in Spielberg was his fifth of the season and third on the trot after prior wins at the Styrian Grand Prix and French Grand Prix.
However, Norris took the ‘Driver of the Day’ honor last weekend. The Briton qualified an impressive P2 behind Verstappen and kept Hamilton behind him for several laps before conceding to him on Lap 20. Despite that setback, Norris regained P3 from Hamilton in Lap 53 after the defending champion suffered floor damage during the race.
During the race, the defending world champion complimented Norris by saying, “Such a great driver, Lando.”
Verstappen pounced in joking with Norris after the race, questioning how good a driver he is. He asked, “Are you? A great driver?”
When Norris replied, “Apparently,” Verstappen quickly retorted, “I didn’t know that man!”

Can Verstappen and Norris keep their form going at the British Grand Prix?
As the Dutchman leads Hamilton by 32 points in the driver’s championship, he looks much quicker than last season. In addition, Red Bull’s package looks more complete than Mercedes, making the 23-year-old a favorite not just to win the British Grand Prix, but the title itself.

Norris, on the other hand, could clinch his fourth podium in his home race at Silverstone on July 18. Although his McLaren aren’t on the same level as Red Bull and Mercedes, the Briton isn’t just pulling his weight, but threatening those at the top as well.
