Bottas talks about the events that happened after the cancelation announcement in Australia. He tells how everyone was disappointed and concerned about their safe return. He narrates the next day’s situation as oddly silent and stressful.

He revealed that he’s actively doing a lot of cycling and running in his home town. Notably, the Coronavirus situation is under control in Finnland and people are allowed to do many outdoor activities while maintaining social distancing. Bottas also told the interviewer about his virtual racing plans. He will be receiving his virtual racing setup and we can expect to see in a few F1 Esports tournaments.

Formula 1 is going through the worst phase

Six weeks ago, the 2020 F1 season was all set to start in Australia. However, Coronavirus pandemic put it into chaos as the Australian Grand Prix was called off hours before the practice session. The sport is still trying to figure out its survival strategy amid an uncertain future with plenty of options. Exactly how the 2020 F1 world championship will play out remains far from clear.
