The traveling circus is making its way to the American subcontinent once again in the current campaign. The return to the US Grand Prix weekend will give the drivers plenty of time to catch up on US-based activities. We might have a slight idea of what Valtteri Bottas will be up to.
The Finn, after the Miami GP weekend, stayed back and famously went for a swim in Aspen. However, it’s not the skinny dipping Bottas will look forward to, it is probably ice hockey. When asked what would be doing if not driving in the premier class, Bottas had an instant reply. “I would play ice hockey professionally,” said Valtteri Bottas and also gave an explanation. “Because I played as a kid for like 10 years in the summer driving go-karts and winter playing hockey.”
Bottas then answered a few follow-up questions. When asked if he would stay in his county or go to NHL, he said, “I would’ve liked to go to NHL.”

So if it wasn’t for the summer go-karting days, the Finn would’ve been wearing a completely different outfit to practice his trade. However, that wasn’t meant to be, but Bottas can still catch a match before the race weekend.
However, what team does he support? The Finn revealed that as well.

“[Montreal Canadiens] I like, but now I’m quite keen to see maybe some game of the Vegas [Golden Knights] because we’ll also be racing there,” he said.
This statement from Bottas invoked the interviewer, to give her input. She said, “That is by all accounts the most fun atmosphere of a hockey game.”
