Lewis Hamilton‘s friendship with Shaun White and Nina Dobrev is no secret by now. The Olympian, with his girlfriend, hung out with the Brit in the paddocks in Monaco this year before the race. The pair even cheered for the Mercedes man when he was going through arguably the worst season of his career. Nina recently celebrated her 34th birthday and Lewis’ presence left fans mighty excited.

Hamilton was among the slew of celebrities who took a trip to Antarctica on an ultra-luxurious mega yacht called Octopus. Also present on deck were Shaun White and The Vampire Diaries star, Nina Dobrev. The F1 sensation went out for a run on a trail that had penguins and seals. The trio was even spotted enjoying themselves in a jacuzzi in one of Shaun’s social media posts.

It appears that the vacation trip wasn’t the end of Lewis’ association with Shaun and Nina. After Lewis’ 38th birthday recently, Dobrev celebrated her 34th on January 9. She posted a single picture from the party posing hilariously with a red cake.

In the caption, she wrote, “sorry I’ve been MIA. pretty bad tummy ache after eating this entire birthday cake.”

Shaun in the post’s comments wrote, “Save some room for later Augustus !!”

However, what caught fans’ attention was Lewis Hamilton in the background.
