Crossovers between the worlds of sporting are not a rare occurrence, and referencing each other’s discipline is an even more common one. Chris Bumstead, who has often stirred the pot in the niche world of Formula 1, has done it once again, and this time he has done it in the place where Sebastian Vettel won his fourth championship. Yes, it is the Buddh International Circuit where the then Red Bull driver created history and also stated that he wouldn’t want to drive in the streets.
Even the 7x champion, Lewis Hamilton, had remarked about the bustling streets of the Asian nation. He has said, “There must be some fantastic drivers in India, I am sure. I cannot fathom how vehicles converge at any given point from all directions at the same time and no one hits anyone. They all move away smoothly. Thank goodness, I do not drive on Indian roads.” And now the bodybuilding champ has echoed the emotion during his visit.
Currently on a tour to the mystical land is 4x Mr. Olympia, Chris, and alongside him is his girlfriend Courtney Alexis King. While he was visiting the monuments of the national capital of the country yesterday, he got stuck in traffic at night.

And now, joining the likes of Lewis Hamilton and Sebastian Vettel, he has also come out with a remark about Indian streets. He took to his Instagram account where he posted a video of two cars very narrowly escaping, grazing each other and moving in the opposite direction. He wrote, “Need to be an F1 driver in India” and then also added, “Mad Skill”
And while driving in India may be a tricky endeavor, the gated streets of Baku are no less.

“It’s a bit rich, isn’t it of himself? You know, Max Verstappen saying a driver’s taking some unnecessary risks. Max has made a career out of putting in gutsy moves, getting his elbows out. You know, getting down and dirty, running wheel to wheel with people. He’s fought drivers hard his entire career but he doesn’t like being raced hard himself. Particularly not when he’s fighting for a championship and I think that really showed today.”
