It is a very special weekend for billionaire businessman Lawrence Stroll. While his son Lance Stroll made him proud by racing in their home F1 race, the Canadian GP, his daughter, Chloe Stroll, shared splendid news with the world. The heiress to Stroll’s F1 empire and her Aussie snowboarding champion husband, Scotty James, have announced their first pregnancy.

Chloe and Scotty tied the knot in a lavish, star-studded ceremony in May 2023. The $3.9 billion Aston Martin owner’s daughter was surrounded by loved ones and F1 royalty. Mercedes boss Toto Wolff, his wife and F1 Academy MD, Susie Wolff, F1 CEO Stefano Domenicali, and Fernando Alonso’s manager, Flavio Briatore, were a few of the attendees.

It has been just over a year since they said “I do” and a sweet, new addition to the family is on its way. Chloe Stroll shared an Instagram post today, breaking the news to the world. “This is not a Dad joke…”, she humorously captioned the post, flaunting her baby bump with loving husband Scotty James by her side, in a carousel of photos. “This is the strangest thing that we’ve ever done,” she said in a short video after dancing to Scotty’s slow, vocalized beats.

How did Lance Stroll’s phone call change his sister Chloe Stroll’s love life?

Scotty James is Australia’s first male snowboarder to win an Olympic medal. And Chloe Stroll is a singer-songwriter from Canada. Despite being separated by thousands of miles of ocean and different professions, the duo met and made it work. Scotty’s F1 connections, including a close friendship with compatriot Daniel Ricciardo and eventually Lance Stroll, made this possible.

Lance actually called me and said, ‘I think I just found the guy you’re going to marry’,” Chloe told the Herald Sun. “It was kind of strange. I had a conference in Park City (Utah), which was where his (Scotty’s) next competition was the same weekend. And a lot of random things happened. Scotty was very cute. We dated for about four months, or, as he likes to say, we got to know each other before he officially asked me to be his girlfriend.”
