F1 season 2022 is all about new changes. The 2022 season comes with entirely new rules and regulations. From bigger tires to the massive change in the structure of the car, from new aerodynamic changes to the aggressive budget cap, you name it. So naturally, with the change in rules and regulations, there came some big upgrades. The teams have already shown what they’re capable of in Barcelona. However, the main test is yet to take place in Bahrain very soon.

Like every year, the teams will try to use the gray areas to get the best out of the aerodynamic rules. The technical regulations are as fresh as the new cars. In regard to this, the FIA said, “Anyone who is used to working with CAD systems will feel at home in the new regulations.” (Quotes translated using Google Translate)

With engines to freeze till 2025, the engineers will try to use every possible way to build the best engines and get as much performance as possible out of the aerodynamics of the car. However, with the new structure of the car, there is less room for interpretation. The nose, the front wing, the diffuser channels, the side boxes, and the rear wing have less area to play with, compared to last year.
