The weekend back in Austin for the US Grand Prix was filled with drama and emotion. However, one moment shared between two talented drivers at the circuit was a rather heartwarming one. And fans are overwhelmed with emotion, as the video surfaced on the internet.

Drivers on the track are usually out to get each other, however, in recent events at COTA, a video surfaced that showed the seven-time champion, Lewis Hamilton and Alfa Romeo’s Valtteri Bottas walking next to each other, sharing a fleeting moment.

Lewis and Valtteri were former teammates. However, their relationship always surpassed their formal roles. They have shared a great bond over the years. Just earlier this season, Bottas gifted Lewis a framed picture of his naked self. They were for a charity purpose, indeed. However, doesn’t take away from the laughs that the two share.

This weekend in Austin, Lewis was caught on camera walking, and we see Bottas catch up with Lewis with a little pat. Hamilton then reciprocates with his arm around the Finnish driver. And so, the two are seen walking off to the track together. This had the fans overwhelmed with emotions. They could not handle the love that the two shared at that moment.

Lewis and Valtteri share a bromance that many admire. Reports state that the two are still spotted taking flights together. Bottas admitted to sharing flights with the former teammate this season to Bahrain and Saudi Arabia.

Furthermore, Bottas shared, “You know, we’re maybe not team-mates, but still mates. It is nice. We have a good relationship in a way. Because we did achieve quite a bit of things together as team-mates. I think that kind of friendship will for sure last too.”
