Charles Leclerc has been the beacon of hope for the Tifosi and Ferrari ever since the Monegasque signed for the Scuderia back in 2019. That being said, the run of luck the 25-year-old has endured ever since has not been short of appalling. On the track, he’s suffered due to Ferrari errors and reliability issues. However, even off the track, the Monacan racing ace has had a very hard time.
When we say this, we aren’t referring to his break-up that happened late last year. What we are, in fact, referring to is an incident that occurred last year in the month of April. Be that as it may, in a hopeful turn of events, it appears as though Leclerc has gotten his peace of mind back as police intervention has resulted in the apprehending of the culprits that plagued him.

Coming face to face with one’s aggressor can never be a sight that leaves the mind of the victim. And even though Leclerc is a bona fide superstar in the eyes of F1 fans and the Tifosi, he is human after all. But it seems like the Italian law enforcement has come good for his sake.
According to Reuters, “Italian police have arrested four people wanted in connection with the theft of a luxury watch from Ferrari’s Formula One driver Charles Leclerc last year.” The report went on to say, “The police said in a statement that they found two “valuable watches, the provenance of which will be investigated further,” while searching the house of one of the suspects.”
The value of the exclusive Richard Mille timepiece is approximately $2,000,000.
A sigh of relief from the Ferrari man would have followed this news. But he isn’t the only one to be harassed by rogues.

“The McLaren driver, 23, was held in a headlock by an unknown man while the Richard Mille timepiece – one of only five in the world – was wrenched from his wrist by another mugger. He was targeted as he walked to his sports car after England’s heart breaking defeat to Italy on penalties,” per Mirror UK.
The report however ended on a disturbing note for the McLaren driver. “An accused thief has been cleared of robbing Formula One star Lando Norris of his unique £144,000 ($176,000 approx.) designer watch at the Euro 2020 final.”
