Who’s the first person that comes to your mind when you think about music and Formula 1 together? Well yes, some of you might think of Shakira because of her connection to Lewis Hamilton but it’s the 7X World Champion who has the alternate personality name XNDA. Christian Horner however doesn’t seem to be fazed by Hamilton’s reaction as he continued to sing his favorite song to mark Landmark Celebrations. What is your favorite song?
Lewis Hamilton is a great admirer of good music. However, the Briton certainly does not approve of Red Bull’s music taste. The 7X Champions complained of Red Bull’s bad music taste and the loudness with which they play the music. Hamilton said, “Yeah, the Bulls don’t play great music. So you put your headphones in to listen to what you want to listen to, what your vibe is.”

However, Christian Horner doesn’t seem to be fazed by Hamilton’s rejection as he recently revealed the song that is his go-to for celebration. According to @RBR_Daily’s tweet, Christian Horner during the F1 Unlapped podcast revealed his and some other driver’s go-to Karaoke song. Horner said, “Singing is not really in my department. But, American Pie has come out a few times!”
A video was also attached to the post where Christian Horner and Adrian Newey can be seen singing American Pie. Horner also shrugged off Lewis Hamilton’s rejection by suggesting that his team likes the music loud.

Music is quintessential for the sanity of most people. One can only imagine what it is like in an F1 paddock with the stakes so high. Amid this tension, Red Bull usually becomes the DJ in the F1 paddock and Garage and pumps the woofers out loud to calm the nerves and have some fun at the same time. Horner advises that Red Bull does play its music out loud and enjoys it as well.
According to the ESPN F1 Unlapped podcast, Christian Horner said “We’re grateful for all the support we get from all around the world. Red Bull is a different team. We play our music loud, and we enjoy what we do and try to do it with a smile on our face.”
