Sergio Perez blasted Max Verstappen after the Dutch driver left the Mexican out to dry at the 2022 Brazilian Grand Prix. Perez needed the points for his fight for P2 in Championship and Verstappen out rightly disobeyed team orders to let him by.
Team boss Christian Horner quickly apologized to Perez, who replied: “It shows who he really is.”
Now, Dutch GP boss Jan Lammers has now hit out against Perez. While speaking to NOS, he said, “Perez says Verstappen owes his two titles to him, but he also said he has now seen Verstappen’s true nature which I think it quite personal.”
“It’s a personal insult to Max’s character, which was unnecessary and below the belt.”
The fans and the media have kept on hammering this controversy in many different shapes. It would appear that the protagonist of this play has put this whole situation behind him.
