Formula 1, as a sport, has been increasing its popularity many folds over the last few years. Personalities from various sports are talking about it as well as taking an active interest. Recently, UFC personality Joe Rogan and American comedian Andrew Schulz were the ones doing the same.

Andrew Schulz was present at Joe Rogan’s JRE & the Fam podcast where they discussed F1, Netflix’s Driver to Survive, Mercedes and Williams contrasting competitiveness as well as Red Bull’s rise and differences between a GT car and an F1 car.

Talking about this, it was Schulz who went first with, “I got really into that F1 during the pandemic. I watched drive to survive. The culture behind it like they’re all f***ing kids, they’re all so competitive.” To which Rogan had replied,They’re psychos, yeah, they’re psychos!

Schulz further stated, “It’s awesome.” As that got over, Rogan asked if the comedian has seen the Senna documentary, to which Schulz answered back with, “Yeah, amazing, yeah. I mean, it was just crazy.

Joe Rogan unravels the striking disparity between a GT can and an F1 car

The UFC commentator further shared his knowledge about the differences between a GT car and an F1 car. GT cars are grand touring cars, which are often faster than the usual road cars. They are designed for high-speed driving.

Talking about this, Rogan asked Schulz, “Have you ever seen the difference between a GT car and an F1 car going around the same circuit?” To which the stand-up comedian replied with, “No.

To describe the difference between them, the 55-year-old UFC star further asserted, “It’s so striking because the GT car is like the 911 GT3 right, a fast f***ing car, but the comparison between one of those… That is wild sh*t man!”

Joe Rogan finished his description with a video that he showed to Andrew Schulz. The video depicted the striking differences between the GT car and the F1 car when they were going into the Eau Rouge corner at the Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium.
