Alpine have successfully fired up their 2022 engine ahead of the car launch. The French team is hoping to be championship contenders at the start of the 2022 regulations. They are currently doing a major revamp of their leadership division to prepare themselves for next season.

The Alpine team took to social media to share an audio of them firing up the 2022 engine. The successful engine fire-up is the first step of their grand ‘El Plan’ for the next season. Twitter also reacted to the sound of the new engine and provided some funny memes.

As reported by GPBlog, the two-time world champion mentioned that everyone has to wait for some time to know what the ‘El Plan’ is. Fernando Alonso revealed that he also doesn’t know what the ‘El Plan’ is.

“El Plan, you have to wait a few more months to find out. For now, above all, you have to believe in El Plan,” said Fernando.

If everything goes according to the plan, then Alpine can surely challenge for the title. The French outfit is confident that they have used their resources for the development of the 2022 car well and will be up the grid come next season.
