All big F1 personalities have received hate on at least one occasion, if not multiple. Before the age of social media, journalists were the only people who could make their opinions known through news pieces. But in today’s age, the amount of negativity dished out has increased. Each person with a phone or a laptop voices their opinions without worrying about receiving anything back. Commenting on the same, Lando Norris has given philosophical advice to that bunch who are pure haters.

As much as Norris has received love for his merry personality, he has received backlash on certain occasions as well. And like any other driver, he too has a dedicated set of haters who need no reason to bash him. Exactly a year ago, Norris had spoken about how he gets death threats and his ex-girlfriend got harassed on social media. However, In the latest podcast of F1: Beyond the Grid, he opened up on how he does not get affected by such negativity.

Norris said, “You have to learn to listen to the people that you respect. Understand what people are saying but at the same time when you know someone has no idea about something or just says it simply ’cause they are idiots or they got nothing else to do. I don’t get why people would wanna waste time of their life, their one life that they live. Why people wanna spend time doing these things?”

Norris said, “This has been my toughest season. I have been on the rise and felt that glory and the podiums and then it drops off to the worst it has been for me.
