After an action-packed race weekend ended at Sochi Autodrom, the Formula 1 paddock is headed towards the Istanbul Park Circuit for the Turkish Grand Prix.

Yesterday, during the Free Practice sessions, the sun was glaring over the Turkish capital. However, the conditions changed overnight, courtesy of heavy rainfall. And even during Free Practice 3, there were few rain showers.

Although, according to Weather.com, the predictions are it will be mostly cloudy during the qualifying with a 9% chance of precipitation. Therefore, a damp track is expected during the Turkish GP qualifying.

Turkish GP, which returned to the racing calendar last year, saw several drivers struggling for grip, and a similar instance was also witnessed during the Friday practice sessions as drivers struggled to maneuver their cars during the extremely windy conditions. Meanwhile, during the qualifying, a 20 KMPH wind speed is expected.

The Turkish Grand Prix qualifying will begin on Saturday, 9th October at 3:00 PM local time.

Where to watch Turkish Grand Prix Qualifying and timings?

In the United Kingdom, the live coverage of the Turkish Grand Prix will commence on 9th October, Saturday, at 1:00 PM BST, and it will be broadcasted on Sky Sports F1. Meanwhile, non-Sky subscribers can subscribe to F1 TV or will have to rely on highlights from Channel 4.

In the United States, the race will be broadcasted on ESPN and the live coverage will begin on 9th October, Saturday at 8:00 AM ET. Meanwhile, fans tuning in from the US can watch the highlights on the official channel of Formula 1 on YouTube.
