Mercedes have dominated the 2020 season so far. They secured the record-breaking 7th consecutive Constructors’ title this year. The team is obviously doing their job on the grid. Meanwhile, Mercedes’ social media team is also doing their part to rally to the crew’s support.
All the drivers arrived in Istanbul ahead of the Turkish Grand Prix 2 days before the media day. All except Romain Grosjean, who happened to miss his flight to Istanbul.
Lewis Hamilton is set to win his record-equalling 7th World Championship at Istanbul. Mercedes posted a picture on Twitter of Lewis Hamilton taking a walk with Roscoe. However, the fans noticed some ‘red’ in the picture.

A Formula 1 fan replied to the tweet stating, “red phone case? lewis to ferrari confirmed”. An opportunity was presented, and staying true to their character, Mercedes pounced on it to let out a few laughs.

Mercedes take a hilarious dig at Ferrari
It is true that Ferrari have not been a worthy competitor this season. However, Mercedes and Ferrari have had a long-standing rivalry on the grid. The drivers and the team have long competed for the Drivers’ and Constructors’ championship.
Another fan pointed out the bright red Ferrari truck behind Hamilton and warned the silver arrows. The Mercedes team’s reply was absolutely hilarious.
Why? Ferrari is always behind Lewis.

As you can predict, Twitter fans could not contain their excitement over the reply. Once again, we saw the Mercedes social media team taking things to the next level. We are still waiting on Ferrari’s reply to the comment, though.
Meanwhile, on the grid, Ferrari are still struggling with their power unit. Going into Istanbul, the team believes that it will be a tall task for the SF1000.

Lewis Hamilton, on the other hand, almost has both his hands on this season’s world title. It remains to be seen whether he gets to toss the trophy in the air and celebrate another championship, this time around or not.
