Last season, all teams competed on the Formula One circuit under the new technical regulations. Ferrari was one of the teams that adjusted to the new regulations quite quickly. In addition, the Scuderia’s victories in the first two of the three races showed the squad was headed in the right direction, Sadly, the Prancing Horse failed to take advantage of all the subsequent opportunities, which resulted in another unsuccessful campaign that eventually caused their wonder lad Charles Leclerc to rage with resentment.
In the third episode of Netflix’s Drive to Survive, the scene was set to explain the challenges of Ferrari in the last season. After the Monaco GP, where the team double-stacked both cars in the pits and robbed Leclerc of his well-deserved victory, things started to get messy. Then, at Silverstone, the team handled the situation poorly by giving each driver a separate message. Sainz won the race that day because the Prancing Horse chose to Pit Leclerc. At the French Grand Prix, where Leclerc was cruising to victory after taking the early lead, things almost went horribly wrong for him as the Ferrari driver lost control of his F1 75 and spun into the tire barrier.

Leclerc admitted that his previous season had been extremely challenging and that he had trouble controlling his emotions. He said, “It was a really good start to the year but it’s been a frustrating season. We need to get better, especially with the strategy. I’ve been trying to control my emotions but I am not really happy with it.”
During the preseason testing, Leclerc disclosed something that can make the Tifosi supporters happier, giving the impression that things might be improved this year.

Noting that this year’s design changes have altered the vehicle’s overall feel, Leclerc told motorsports.com, “I won’t go into too much details, but I think that was done in the right way. And I think we have a less draggy car, so that should be better this year. But it changed other characteristics.”
Later, Leclerc asserted that the vehicle met his expectations, but he still wants to find the ideal configuration, he said, “All in line with what we expected, but we still need to find the right set-up for these new characteristics.”
