The zero side pod concept creator, Mike Elliott, has now resumed his role as the Chief Technical Officer and James Allison is once again the Director of Technology. The team which understood its flaws during the Bahrain testing expected to roll out a massive upgrade package in Imola, but unfortunately, one has to wait a little longer. But we needn’t wait to find out the reason why James Allison came back.
As quoted by Motorsports-Total, “It’s quite interesting how it came about. Because James gave up the five days a week when he and his partner Chloe moved to the UK; Chloe came from Switzerland, so it came in handy.”

With Allison back, the hopes are high, and amidst Lewis Hamilton’s move rumors, Toto Wolff has enumerated the progress they are making.

Lewis Hamilton is being touted to jump ships as Ferrari gears up to make him a $49,000,000 worth offer. While that certainly is an offer one cannot refuse, Mercedes isn’t far behind in upping their game reveals Toto Wolff.

As quoted by Motorsport Total, Toto Wolff revealed his master plan, saying, “We plan to expand the campus with several new buildings and create a modern campus, with many break areas, restaurants, state-of-the-art sports halls and new marketing buildings… We are not guided by our sporting competitors. We are guided by the best technology campuses we know from the United States. That is the ambition.”
“This is also a struggle to retain talent and hire employees and to be an attractive employer. This shows our commitment and that what we do applies to all of our employees. We want it to be a first-class technology campus,” he added.
