The Italian Job is probably one of the most famous heist movies of all time. The 1969 grand show was not only a popular movie at the time but it also earned its place among the top 100 British movies by the British Film Institute. This Michael Caine starrer has many fans all over the world, and as it turns out, Lewis Hamilton is one of them.

As the Mercedes star appeared on a BBC show in 2015, he was made to choose between two movies. One was The Italian Job, while the other was the Hollywood blockbuster Fast and Furious. Even though Fast and Furious has a huge fan following all over the world, it was not enough to have Hamilton liking the movie over Michael Caine’s work.

As the ‘pick anyone’ show started off, the choice between the two movies was the first question to be answered. As the choice was to be made, the seven-time world champion choseThe Italian Job man.”

And then he went on to imitate the dialogue delivered by Caine in the movie, “Michael Caine: I told you to blow the bloody doors off.

Before the game was started, the host gave the rules. He said, “50-50 options, 10 questions” out of which Hamilton couldn’t pass any questions. As the video went on, there were many choices Hamilton had to make!

Lewis Hamilton further gave his pick among some bizarre options!

As the game went ahead, the former McLaren driver also had to choose between neck pain and his then-Mercedes teammate Nico Rosberg!

Yes, you read it right. While he stated, he already had neck pain, he went on to convey, “It (the neck pain) is actually a lot like Nico [Nico Rosberg].

However, coming back to 2022, Lewis Hamilton gears up and prepares for the penultimate race of the season. The 2022 F1 season hasn’t been ideal for him as he is yet to pick up a win. With two races to go, it’ll be interesting to see if Hamilton can finally continue the streak of winning at least one race every season.
